December 5, 2025 Eventy December 2025 Update

Hello everyone!

We're nearing the end of the year and wanted to share some more updates that we've launched over the past few weeks. Let's take a look.

Notifications

We've launched our new notifications. For your user group we'll:

• Send a message to the user group owner and leaders when a new member joins

• Send a default or customized welcome message to new members who join

• A reminder for attendees about upcoming events one week and one day before the event

• A default or customised thank you message to attendees a day after the event has finished

All of these are configurable in a settings panel in your user group settings and as a user you can also turn these off in general if you don't want to receive them.

Rich text editor

We've switched our editors in Eventy from Markdown to rich text. We felt this was a better choice to give you a more closer editing experience to how content is also shown on the platform.

Support bubble

We've added an in-app support widget so now you can reach out to us if you have any questions, feature requests or need some help. Say hello! :)

Improved UI

You'll notice we've tweaked our UI here and there which will give you a better overall experience when using Eventy.
