Brent Roose - Things I wish I knew

Abstract: I fell in love with code when I was twelve. Looking back, young me didn't know many things about programming, and there were many struggles to wade through during the first years of my professional career. A year or two ago I got confronted with what felt like yet another new reality: the rise of AI, and especially my struggles with it. In this talk, I look back at the things I wish I knew fifteen years ago and how that knowledge can help me (and hopefully you) find stability in what feels like a new era of programming.
